From surat Al 'Imran

3:67  Abraham was not a Jew nor yet a Christian; but he was [u]true in Faith[/u][color=red]*[/color], and bowed his will to God's (Which is Islam), and he joined not gods with God.

maa kana ibraaheemu yahoodiyyan wa laa naSraaniyyan wa laakin kana Haneefan musliman wa maa kana minal mushrikeen

4:125 Who can be better in religion than one who submits his whole self to Allah, does good, and follows the way of Abraham the true in Faith? For Allah did take Abraham for a friend.

wa man aHsanu deenan mimman aslama wajhahu lillaahi wa huwa muHsinun wattaba3a millata ibraaheema Haneefan wattakhadhallaahu ibraaheema khaleel

6:79 "For me, I have set my face, firmly and truly, towards Him Who created the heavens and the earth, and never shall I give partners to Allah."

innee wajjahtu wajhiya lilladhee faTaras samaawaati wal arDHa Haneefan wa maa anaa minal mushrikeen

16:120 Abraham was indeed a model, devoutly obedient to Allah, (and) true in Faith, and he joined not gods with Allah:

inna ibraaheema kana ummatan qaanitan lillaahi Haneefan wa lam yaku minal mushrikeen

22:31 Being true in faith to Allah, and never assigning partners to Him: if anyone assigns partners to Allah, is as if he had fallen from heaven and been snatched up by birds, or the wind had swooped (like a bird on its prey) and thrown him into a far-distant place.
