| 2:40 O Children of Israel! call to mind the (special) favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil your covenant with Me as I fulfil My Covenant with you, and fear none but Me. yaa banee israa'eela-dhkuroo ni3matiyallatee an3amtu 3alaykum ... 3:135 And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done. walladheena idhaa fa3aloo faaHishatan aw DHalamoo anfusahum dhakarullaaha fastaghfaroo li dhunoobihim wa man yaghfirudh dhunooba illallaahu wa lam yuSirroo 3alaa maa fa3aloo wa hum ya3lamoon 3:191 Men who celebrate the praises of Allah, standing, sitting, and lying down on their sides, and contemplate the (wonders of) creation in the heavens and the earth, (With the thought): "Our Lord! not for naught Hast Thou created (all) this! Glory to Thee! Give us salvation from the penalty of the Fire. alladheena yadhkuroo nallaaha qiyaaman wa qu3oodan wa 3alaa junoobihim wa yatafakkaroona fee khalqis samaawaati wal arDi rabbanaa maa khalaqta haadhaa baaTilan subHaanaka faqinaa 3adhaaban naar 8:26 Call to mind when ye were a small (band), despised through the land, and afraid that men might despoil and kidnap you; But He provided a safe asylum for you, strengthened you with His aid, and gave you Good things for sustenance: that ye might be grateful. wadhkuroo idh antum qaleelun mustaD3afoona fil arDi takhaafoona anya takhaTTafakumun naasu fa'aawaakum ... 35:3 O men! Call to mind the grace of Allah unto you! is there a creator, other than Allah, to give you sustenance from heaven or earth? There is no god but He: how then are ye deluded away from the Truth? yaa ayyuhannaasu-dhkuroo ni3matallaahi 3alaykum hal min khaaliqin ghayrullaahi yarzuqukum minas samaa'i wal arDi laa ilaaha illaa huwa fa annaa tu'fakoon |
