| 3:11 (Their plight will be) no better than that of the people of Pharaoh, and their predecessors: They denied our Signs, and Allah called them to account for their sins. For Allah is strict in punishment. kada'bi aali fir3awna walladheena min qablihim kadhdhaboo bi aayaatinaa fa akhadhahumullaahu bi dhunoobihim wallaahu shadeedul 3iqaab 3:16 (Namely), those who say: "Our Lord! we have indeed believed: forgive us, then, our sins, and save us from the agony of the Fire;"- alladheena yaqooloona rabbanaa innanaa aamannaa faghfirlanaa dhunoobana wa qinaa 3adhaaban naar 3:135 And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done. walladheena idhaa fa3aloo faaHishatan aw DHalamoo anfusahum dhakarullaaha fastaghfaroo li dhunoobihim wa man yaghfirudh dhunooba illallaahu wa lam yuSirroo 3alaa maa fa3aloo wa hum ya3lamoon 8:52 "(Deeds) after the manner of the people of Pharaoh and of those before them: They rejected the Signs of Allah, and Allah punished them for their crimes: for Allah is Strong, and Strict in punishment: kada'bi aali firawna walladheena min qablihim kafaroo bi aayaatillaahi fa akhadhahumullaahu bi dhunoobihim innallaaha qawiyyun shadeedul 3iqaab |
