Assalam-u-Alaikum, Isn't Isra'eel supposed to mean "The name of the people of the Prophet Yacoub (AS)"? And are you sure "Umirtu" is right? If so please explain the following Ayah: "Wa Umirtu An Akuna Awwal ul Muslimeen" Secondly, is it at all possible that the quiz be held before the 28th? Maybe you could take a special quiz for me (i'd have less time to study so it wont be unfair) and have the rest do it on the 30th? It is impossible for me to take the quiz on the 30th. Wassalam-u-Alaikum |

Assalamu alaikum,
Isn't Isra'eel supposed to mean "The name of the people of the Prophet Yacoub (AS)"?
"Banee Israa'eel" means "Children (people) of Israa'eel." "Israa'eel" was another name of Prophet Ya'qub (Jacob) alayhis salaam. Basically, Ya'qub alayhis salaam had 12 sons and their decendents are together called the Banee Israa'eel. Wassalamu alaikum. |

Umirtu, hmm that's what the book says. Which verse are you referring to? Maybe you can take it at the same time as the UK/Austrailia ppl once we establish that. BTW what is a good time for y'all? |

I think M.F. is right. M.F. are you an Arab? If so, you can't participate in the Qur'an quiz :p Wassalam. |

Assalam-u-Alaikum, I think I've found another mistake. The word Allatee should be "The woman (sing.) who", whereas the word Allaatee would be "The women (plu.) who" Wassalam-u-Alaikum |
