| 2:229 A divorce is only permissible twice: after that, the parties should either hold Together on equitable terms, or separate with kindness. It is not lawful for you, (Men), to take back any of your gifts (from your wives), except when both parties fear that they would be unable to keep the limits ordained by Allah. If ye (judges) do indeed fear that they would be unable to keep the limits ordained by Allah, there is no blame on either of them if she give something for her freedom. These are the limits ordained by Allah; so do not transgress them if any do transgress the limits ordained by Allah, such persons wrong (Themselves as well as others). ... tilka hudoodullaahi falaa ta'tadoohaa wa man yata'adda hudoodallaahi fa oolaa'ika humuzh zhaalimoon 4:13 Those are limits set by Allah: those who obey Allah and His Messenger will be admitted to Gardens with rivers flowing beneath, to abide therein (for ever) and that will be the supreme achievement. tilka hudoodullaahi wa man yuti'illaaha wa rasoolahu yudkhilhu jannaati tajree min tahtihal anhaaru khaalideena feehaa wa zaalikal fawzul 'azheem 4:14 But those who disobey Allah and His Messenger and transgress His limits will be admitted to a Fire, to abide therein: And they shall have a humiliating punishment. wa man ya'sillaaha wa rasoolahu wa yata'adda hudoodahu yudkhilhu naaran khaalidan feehaa wa lahu 'azaabun muheen 9:112 Those that turn (to Allah) in repentance; that serve Him, and praise Him; that wander in devotion to the cause of Allah,: that bow down and prostrate themselves in prayer; that enjoin good and forbid evil; and observe the limit set by Allah;- (These do rejoice). So proclaim the glad tidings to the Believers. attaa'iboonal 'aabidoonal haamidoonas saa'ihoonar raaki'oonas saajidoonal aamiroona bil ma'roofi wannaahoona 'anil munkari wal haafizhoona li hudoodillaahi wa bashshiril mu'mineen |
