It's All In The Pronunciation

Two tourists driving through Louisiana were
approaching the town of Natchitoches when they
began arguing about the pronunciation of that
town. Their argument continued as they stopped
for lunch.
Standing at the counter, one tourist decided to
resolve the issue by asking the employee. "Before
we order, could you please settle an argument for
us? Would you please pronunce the name of
where we are? Slowly,please?"

The employee leaned over the counter and said,
"Burrrrrr, grrrrrr, Kiiiinng."

Hmmm...Not that I'm a genius or anything, but let's deal with this by using common sense.  You're able to go online, open Internet Explorer/Netscape, head over to Jannah.org, post a corney joke, but are too lazy to add a simple 'o'?  Not that I'm a professor, I normally don't mind, but at first I didn't know what you meant until they asked the employee.  Plus, I'm about to take my IGCSE exams, so I don't want a few people to ruin my english.  No offense, ofcourse :)

Sorry to burst your bubble hermit, but the correct spelling is WITHOUT the "O" ... Sara was right first time around [2 points Sara] :)

I understand though how you made that mistake Hermit, you may want to reflect on the following spellings:

Pronounce, Pronounced, Pronunciation

Just as you may have "Subscribe" and "Subscription" with a "P" and not a "B".

Alas, it's only the silly English langauge.

Assalam-u-Alaium,
Thamx Muslima.  I apologise to you, Sara, for trying to be smart.  I suppose I'm wrong.  Again, I'm sorry.
