When we fall, you laugh When you fall, we feel sorrow (Why can’t you except that there is only Him?) But defend we must--and so we will. Don't tell me wrong from right Don't tell me what my history is Don't tell me to lie down and play dead For your entertainment And entertainment--that's all it is for you Robbing me of my identity is your dream, Your wistful wish. I know no geographical lines My race is Musalman My country isn't the Arabian Peninsula Nor Africa or America Nor Europe Asia or Australia My country is the whole earth The entire Universe I don't care for Palestine I care for God and this piece of land On which His masjid stands That's the only reason I fight. Call it whatever you want Israel, Occupied Territories... It's still the same place Just made ugly by your evil presence. Wherever you will be, I'll be there Trying to get rid of the evil from my home From every corner of the world So beware You may have big tanks and guns You may have wealth But you don't have the most important thing of all Iman—your weapons are no match for my weapon. Sure, you slaughter us like cattle Sure, we only got a few dozen of yours, Sure we're loosing the battles One after the other, But it’s the last battle that will count Sure, you have the world's sympathy And lets not forget the money But you don't have Who really counts You forgot about God He's on our side. | Assalamoalykum, My friend wrote this. Lately she's been feeling really depressed by our situation as an Ummah and so she writes to release her emotions since she really doesn't talk to anyone about it. Not even me. I never know what's bugging her until I read a poem by her and we never discuss the poem because she's not comfortable with people knowing her innermost feelings. wassalam |
