Assalam,
RAMADAN MUBARAK!!!!!!
"WHEW" I actually fasted today!!:)
It was easy today, because I only worked today (I work Mon,Wed, and Fri./Tues. and Thrus. is school days.
It was easy today because my mind was focused on work.
I work in a daycare. So I was busy playing with the kids.
The hard part was waking up 5:00a.m. I set my alarm, but I didn't hear it so my sister had to wake me up.
Inshallah,I complete my 30 days of Ramadan.Hope that didn't sound corney...

Alhumdullilah glad to hear that Sara. :)

Saleema you should drink a lot of water before you fast.  I drank 3 glasses of water yesterday and today I think I drank 4 glasses.   Just force yourself even if you don't want to.  They say you are supposed to drink 8 glasses of water a day to help your system.  Jannah, bebsi doesn't count.

I only started fasting today,I had to say that so as to tell the sisters that we have to accept what Allah wrote for us, the daughters of Eve,we do not fast the whole month, and some(including me)seem to get frustrated for not being able to fast the whole month, but if we remember that it is Allah's will and since we do not get angry at Allah's will, then inshallah we will get the good hassanat we want.
Also, not fasting from food does not mean not fasting from lying and back-biting...etc.We should also read dua'as,make thikr and try to learn our islamic history or learn some new hadeeths,so it is not the end of the world,we have a lot we can do instead of sitting around feeling sorry for ourselves.
