My name is Arshia Khan . I live in Mississauga, Canada and I’m 18. My sister and I have been working on a book, its very similar to “Chicken soup for the teenage soul” except it is for Muslim teenagers. Inspirational stories that we have Alhamdulillah, collected from many Muslim teenagers from different parts of the world. Some are stories of teenagers who became Muslim and how it has changed their life. Others are stories about Hijab and other issues that Muslim teenagers deal with, along with poems about a variety of Islamic topics. If any one of you are interested in contributing your story (must be nonfiction) or an ORIGINAL poem. Please Send it along with your full name, age, country and any other information you would like to the following address

youthbook4muslims@hotmail.com

Your story:

1. must be ORIGINAL written by yourself with a title
2. written in first person narration
3. you must be 12-25 years of age
4. 800 words or less
5. must have an eye-catching title
6. must be an experience you had or a lesson you learned relating to Islam. Like:
Eg. - The first time you wore a Hijab to school and the way others reacted.
- Dealing with a death or sickness in your family.
- How you dealt with non-Muslims.
- How you found your way to Islam
Try getting them in as soon as possible. (Not all of the submissions will be published) You do not have to be a very good writer, and it does not have to be grammatically correct, just correct spelling.

Wassalam
