| Assalam ualykum, Welcome sister! It is nice here. :) I think you will like it. I have aol, but never been to any message boards. They aren't moderated and ppl are rude and a lot of weirdos post and stuff. I went to an Islamic chat room once and man, was I shocked at what the ppl were saying! It was horrible! I couldn't believe that they were Muslims. anyway, Wassalam |

| wlm yasmine, subhanallah just last night i was wondering what country spoke dari !!! i found a site that has dari quran recitation and i was like ?? ?? is dari farsi and pashto is different right? | slm Welcome to the board Yasmine and Adam. Insha'Allah you both will enjoy your time here. :) Saleema that is the sad reality of those chat rooms and even many message boards are like that, but alhumdullilah we have good people here that insha'Allah prevent such behavior from even taking place. San Diego is a nice place alhumdullilah. I hear there is a large Afghani community there. |

| Asalaamu Alaikum Yes Dari=Farsi, but when afghans say there langauge they call it Dari, Pashtu is also spoken in Afghanistan. To the Muslim who lives in SD, do you go to Abu-Bakr ICSD? What do you think of the Hafiz? Masha'Allah he is awesome! Masalaama, Yasmine |

[/quote] actually no sis i dont pray taraweeh at masjid AbuBakr because im like 40 miles from the masjid, i live up in north county. I go to masjid vista, and masha Allah we have a shaikh from Egypt and another one from Madina alhamdulilah. Both are superb. |
