| assalaamu alaikum I think it would be a wonderful idea if we had a new folder called Media Watch. We could use it as a place to post CAIR action alerts and the like, and also related issues for the British Isles. The number of active Muslims we have here, added to the thousands of visitors to this board daily could make this quite effective in having numbers of letters shoot off to media offices letting them know about their mistakes. | sort of... but there isso much news flowing thru that folder, that items like action alerts which *I* think need to be more static keep getting pushed away out of sight. Kashif Wa Salaam |

Can we not have sub-folders, for example Al-Taqwa Masjid & Library can have subfolders for Arabic word a day, Hadeeth a day, Historical facts a week/day (which Insha Allah I will start next week) etc. Or maybe it will become too cumbersome. | there isn't any way to have sub-folders. maybe what we can do is have something in the subject to show it is an action alert like ACTION: kind of like in the taqwa mosque where we have QURAN WORD: so that everyone knows those posts are the words. i guess we would get categorized to the nth degree..but then i feel some ppl will not read certain things that they should... so perhaps it's better to have general categories with labels to tell what everything is... |

| slm Yeah I kind of agree with Jannah, having too many categories just might be confusing. If its a CAIR thingie just have CAIR or ACTION ALERT, something like that. Our board is still growing and its going to be a little quiet for the next 3 or 4 weeks as the people I play and joke around with, Asim, Arsalan, Gladiator, and Kashif are away or hardly posting. :( |
