Salamu Aliakom sister,

Well I don't want to be rude or anything but this article is from one of those trashy GenX magazines right?

No offense ukhti but everything in that article has no relation to Muslims what so ever. I especially hate the so called "battle of the genders". Sure there are problems between husband and wife but thats between them.

Please forgive me if i sounded harsh, i didn't mean to come off like that but I just don't like seeing those kinds of articles.

But I dont read trashy magazines. It was just a funny joke not to be taken seriously.

I dont read anything like that Alhumdulilah. Once again it was only a joke that is not to be taken seriously.

Sis I never said you read trashy magazines. As I said before, I didn't mean to be harsh but I just don't think the contents of that article are very appropriate. These kinds of articles push men to be against women and visa versa. Wa Allahu A3laam

Style of writing :) You can tell when a good journalist is writing or one of those trashy tabloid writers are writing. Then again I don't consider this article "written art". These kinds of writers fall under the category of "media slavery". What's a media slave? A media slave is someone who succumbs to the demands of a society and presents this in the form of media, IE TV talk shows, tabloids, trashy magazine articles etc ...

Subhan'Allah I never meant this joke as anything. It was just a joke and that is it. It stops there! It was only meant as a sense of humour and nothing more then that. Subhan'Allah i do not take this joke to mean a "Battle of the Genders". And if this joke or "Article" "pushes men to be against women" then soemthing is wrong with that man it has nothing to do with this particular joke. That means he takes things way out of porportion. I am sorry if this joke offends everyone. I will take the joke off Insha'Allah.

I say this w/no meanness (if thats how you say it....)

not to make u feel bad...
but it could be considered as something humorous..but i don't know..i just find it depressing....marriages should be happy ones w/o all those problems or issues that those qs n their a's bring about...

when do we ever hear jolly wedding stories? ;P
