| Assalaam alaikum brothers and sisters OK brief bio... i'm from the UK -london been at uni for ages it seems and loved every minute of it Alhamdullillah. Finally embarked on the 'real world' ie. working. Masha'allah great message board. i've been reading the messages for a while and thought it about time that i gave some input. | Wa-Alaykum Salaam sis greetings and peace from a londer to a londer! ive been in college and it seems like a life time cant wait to leave...inshallah uni will be better if i get there...(and i mean it will be better WHEN I get there :D lol ) what field of study were most of the sisters in your uni into? me i dont really know what i want to do...any good suggestions? well, welcome to the City,insallah you'll find your way around there aren't any roads(we arent as civilised yet :) and thats to the admin.. :) take care Salaamu alaykum |

| Asalaam alaikum safiya Glad there is another londoner here and not just a bunch of Amrikans :) As for study do whatever u have an interest in... preferably s'thing which will enable you to use the knowledge at the end of it. If you want to do something like Arabic or humanities type subjects then i suggest SOAS one of the best places, or for sciency stuff QMW or Westminster. Insha'allah once you get to uni you will have the best time When you go to uni check out the Islamic society. QMW, Westminster, SOAS, City mash'allah have really good sisters studying there and there is usually something going on. If u want i can e-mail you with halaqas and talks that are going on in unis in the london area insha'allah. wasalaam |

| Salaam alaykum Sis jazalah for the advice, i've been to qmw, its nice there and the sisters i've met there r really nice... yeah please if u could email me with the talks going on...i'll see if i can go...jazakallah.. by 'City' do u mean guild hall?? do u know any sisters from qmw? salam |
