| Assalam-u-Alaikum, If I would buy, I would usually go to: www.salafibookstore.com (www.salafipublications.com for some excellent articles!) or www.dar-us-salam.com Both are superb (in terms of content I mean, I've never bought anything from their websites). Salafi is based in the UK, so may of interest to u bhaloo. |

| slm proudtobemuslim, Kashif is the one in the UK, I'm in California. :) Kashif, what do you need swimming trunks for? Its always snowing and cold out there. How are you going to swim in that weather? ??? Unfortunately there aren't really any Islamic clothing stores on the net. I found one in Kuwait that I bought stuff from. Its called al-Hedeya I think? They have all sorts of stuff, including bishts :) |

I have bought books from The Online Islamic Bookstore (www.sharaaz.com) a couple of times. When I wanted to buy something about 6 months ago, I tried several online stores. But for one reason or another it did not work out with them. I remember one site kept losing items from the cart whenever I tried to add a new item. So I ended up with sharaaz.com. Since then I have bought from them again and have had no problems. The books arrive within a week. Wasalaam. |

as salaamu alaykum wa rahmatallah, I don't mean to jump into a strictly brothers conversation, but I hear in Turkey they have halaal swim suits for both brothers and sisters. For sisters they have a shalwar kamees type thing with hijab, and for bro's they have shorts that go to mid calf, all water proof material. Maybe you can ask someone going to Turkey to buy you one, I hear they're pretty common, or find a store based in Turkey? |

| Assalamu Alaikum, I heard www.hizmetbooks.org *gives* out free books to people, if you ask them... They'll mail it to you... They have a hanafi manual called "Endless Bliss", which they sent to a sister in Singapore upon request, so they aren't restricted to a single continent or something... Al hamdulillah, may Allah bless them for their good work. (Although, a little of what they say is questionable in my opinion, ultra-Hanafi)... Allah knows best, Khoda hafiz, Saiful Haque. |

| Asalaamu alaikum So i take it that this "Islamic" swimsuit is desinged to be worn swimming in the presence of men? hmmm, how many women (Islamically mineded and modest) would really go swimming in front of men no matter what they're wearing?? I think i'll go ask this in the Akhwat cafe...... |
