| Assalaam alaikum, I've moved quite a few messages from the Ummah news center to other places because this area is for news or announcement type items. Please don't think I've deleted them! I hope no one was inconvenienced. I just think it's better if we develop each forum in their own right instead of all posting to one inshallah. If i ever do *remove* a post completely, I'll let you know from now on by Madina instant message Inshallah. Also if you don't see your post and are wondering what happenned to it, email us (admin, jannah, bhaloo, Kashif, or se7en) !! |

| slm I know a few people have posted things and have been confused where to post them. Perhaps some folders might not be that clear or obvious to some? Is anyone confused where posts should go? If you are let us know, so we can maybe have clearer descriptions. |

| Assalamu alaikum, I think putting discussions where they belong is one of the most alluring features on this board. Other similar boards don't make it a point to put discussions in their appropriate folders, and it creates a lot of confusion and chaos. Keep up the good work admins. Wassalamu alaikum. |

| Walaikum salaam wrt, Here's a rough idea of what should go where that might help, besides the long descriptions next to each forum: Ummah Community Center - News & Announcements items Akhwat Cafe for Sisters - Sisters only type topics Ikhwan Health Club - Brothers only type topics International House of Kabob - reviews and recipes Bebzi Stand -humor items, introductions and general life topics, miscellaneous Madrasatul Ilm - Islamic Q&A and for educators Dar Al-Hikmah Media Center - Techie topics like the workings of this board, websites or the internet Al-Taqwa Masjid -Islamic articles & Quran words Shahadah Bookstore - poetry and stories The Oasis - Muslim youth topics All Things Albanyia Apartment Complex -Albany, NY news and announcements If anyone would like to change this or add some forums let us know inshallah! |
