Pasta with Basel and Parsely
Servings for 4
__________________________________________________

1 cup choped tomatoes.
4 tablespoons minced garlic
Fresh Basil (1/4 cup) chopped
Fresh Parsely (1/4) chopped
1 teaspoon sugar
a pinch of salt
1/2 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Angel hair Pasta (its really thin)

Follow the directions on the pasta package and boil according to it. The pasta is really thin and follow directions exactly or the pasta will "stick" together.

Heat the olive oil for 2-3 minutes. Saute the ingredients in a pan. Cook for at least 15-20 (or more if you want it more cooked, just make sure it doesn't burn!)minutes on high. If the water, if any appears, (the juices from the vegetables), then cook until that dries or is almost dried up.

Spoon over pasta.

and enjoy!

Wassalam

Thanks for the recipe.  I've listening to people discuss pasta and pasta sauces at the grocery store.  They discuss creamy sauces and sauces with a tomato base.  I'm not sure which sauces are more appropriate for different pastas, i.e. Angel pasta, raviolis, noodle pastas, sea food pastas, etc.

Can anyone explain the differences and the sauces? ???

Since we are posting recipes here, I too will post something.

Salam,

Angel Pastas (those are the really "thin" ones)--usually no sauces are used. They are like my recepies, a little stuff ground up here and there

For sea food---Tomatoes and mushroomy looking type sauces.

Noodle Pastas--cheese based stuff usually and tomatoes sauces.

Raviolis___????

There's exception to all these of course. The main thing that matters is the recepie, weather you get it from Saleema or someone else.  :)

I am not a pasta expert however and someone else will elaborate more. I  just have a few fav. recepies.
