| Assalamu'alaikum Dr. Mohamed Al Masery, of the Canadian Islamic Congress, told us a great true life story in a seminar yesterday, and I wanted to share it with you. There was a sister, who just happens to be a white anglo saxon convert, and she wore the hijab. She entered a store with two bags and she gave them to the clerk to hold them for her until she was done her shopping. The clerk dryly stated "I hope there are no bombs in these bags." The sister, who was quick on her feet, responded by saying "Don't worry, I am not Irish." I think it is good to answer these people back when we have an opportunity and silence them, or at least let them see how silly their assumptions about Muslims are. |

| slm the sister did the right thing cuz all the guy wanted is to get a reaction out of her. if she had gotten mad he would have been happy cuz that's what he wants. but by not gettin upset, she shut him up quickly. wlm Khathija |

| As Salaam Alaikum, Her response was well done because if she had gotton angry and argued with him h e just would have had a reason to kick her out which was probably what he wanted anyway. |
