Assalamu alaykum
I am new to this board. I have been a member of two other islamic boards before, so I am kind of used to the idea of exchanging my views on life and share the way I understand Islam with my fellow Muslims as well as others who might be interested. For now I'm just trying to break the ice and start a small talk. There is no particular subject as always the case when ur trying to break the ice. How about dicussing the weather>>>> MAY BE The Cold feeling that our Muslim Ummah seems to always have even in the summer. How about this for a small talk. It wouldn't be small after all.
That's all for now wassalamu alaykum
Abu Abd
May Allah help us all to be the best for Islam and our Muslim brothers and sisters.

Assalamu alaikum,

Ah the weather!  Probably the most common topic here in Texas, because it's the only thing that changes so frequently around here!  (Texas is known for stuck-up, conservative people).

The temperature never got below 95, and it stayed mostly in 3 digits, since July here in College Station.  Guess what!  3 days ago, it rains, and the next morning, the temperature drops to 50-something.

Talk about extremes!  Aint no such thing as "mild temperature" in College Station!

Wassalamu alaikum.

I myself live in Houston, if you don't know where Houston is. It is a few miles away from College Station. Or perhaps ppl rather need to know where College Station is. Any way, what I was saying is that I don't see any "Stuck-ups" here. As for the weather, it has been soooo nice here for the past few days. Even though it gets so hot most of the time in TX, yet I can't explain how we still have that cold feeling among us, and I mean us as Muslims. I hope to find an answer.
