| Assalamu alaikum, Has anyone seen a sample letter to a Congressman regarding the recent atrocities in Palestine on the web? I need something that I can print out and have people sign it. Any pointers? URL's, maybe? Jazak Allahu khairan. |

| Assalamu alaikum, Jannah, you got this from msa-org didn't you! Stop following me around to all the different list-serves that I'm on! Sheeeeesh!!!! ;) Anyway, I looked at all the stuff, and it's pretty impressive alhamdulillah. I urge all you people who are involved in your MSA's (and even those who are not involved in MSA's!) to get your MSA to set up a booth on your campus and distribute the above documents. It's imperative to create awareness among college students about what is going on. Alot of people don't even know who's the aggressor and who's the victim. The articles in the press are confusing and ambiguous, to say the least, so much so that one person told me on campus that they actually thought the 12 year old (Muhammad al-Durah) was an Israeli kid being shot by a Palestinian!!! The reason? The press used the term "Israeli Arab" for "Palestinian". Create awareness. Ask people to sign the petition and send it off. It's the least you can do in this free country! Wassalamu alaikum. |
