Assalaamu Alaikum Razia ... what do you mean by "senior quotes"?? I know that hadith you are after but i cannot find it .. here is another though: Narrated Abu Musa - Bukhari Hadith 7.442 The Prophet said, -The example of a good pious companion and an evil one is that of a person carrying musk and another blowing a pair of bellows. The one who is carrying musk will either give you some perfume as a present, or you will buy some from him, or you will get a good smell from him, but the one who is blowing a pair of bellows will either burn your clothes or you will get a bad smell from him." |

slm I like this hadith, I'm sure you know which book I got it from. There's another I really like and will put that up later. "Knowledge is a comforting friend in times of loneliness, it is the best companion during travels, and it is the inner friend who speaks to you in your privacy. Knowledge is the discerning proof of what is right and what is wrong, and it is the positive force that will help you surmount the trials of comfort, as well as those of hardships. Knowledge is your most powerful sword against your enemy, and finally, it is your most dignifying raiment in the company of your close companions." --- Mu`aadh ibn Jabal (radhiallahu `anhu) |

What about a verse from the Quran? I'm sure you can find many short verses with great impact and significance |
