| assalaamu alaikum A while back on the old board, a number of people were upset when i posted some comments about the apostasy of Louis Farrakhan - this was around around the time he made comments such as his belief in the Prophethood of Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam and that the Qur'an was Allah's Final Revelation. Muslims rushed to give him the benefit of the doubt and accept him as one of the brothers. Yet, the position of a number of the schools of thought (if not all) is that his 'repentance' is not accepted - as he was a person who had claimed Islam on his tongue a number of times and then rejected it some time later with re-affirmation of his belief in the late Elijah Muhammad. Well, after his so-called repentance of a few months ago, we have available the transcript of his speech from the Million Family March. You can find the entire transcript at: www.washingtonpost.com, but this is his opening: "...We thank him for Mohammed and the Koran. Peace be upon these worthy servants of Allah. I am a student of the most honor Elijah Muhammed, and I could never thank Allah enough for his intervention in our affairs, raising up among us one to lead, teach and guide us to the straight path of God, none other than the Honorable Elijah Muhammad..."
