i was reading an article about the exotic and sexy language of bible, now if some one wanted to tell non-Muslims about it, would that language still be there in the Bible due to its changing versions and what could be done to make Christians realize this fact if they are not present in the new bible.

Wa Alaika Assalaam Asim Zafar

Well brother, if Christians don't wanna accept these exotic verses simply because they are not in the present Bible, then there is an argument in itself, showing them how much the bible has changed and how they know which book to follow etc ... i'm not sure which article u read, but here is a site about this exotic stuff if you would like to read it and it gives references as well at:

well as you can see i have removed the url ... those who wanted it should have book marked it ... hehe ... well to be honest my younger bro book marked it to use against the kuffar but i never actually felt the need to check it out until now ... i mean what do i care about x-rated stuff in someone else's religion, so long as my religion is safe

Assalamu alaikum,

I don't think there's any need to spread the filth of these verses.  You don't have to see Playboy to be able to convince others of its filth!  I would request the moderator to remove that URL.

Jazak Allahu khairan.

Assalamoalykum,

I would request the moderator not to remove the URL please.

Asim, no filth has been removed, from what i can see. I study the Bible and i have several versions of it. If they have removed some of the filth then there must have been *a lot* of it to begin with that I didn't notice it when some of it was taken out.

In the footnotes of the Bible it says itself this and this sentecne, paragraph, chapter, word, words, were changed. There's your proof. the christinas will be shocked, a lot of them, they don't even look at the footnotes! Or if they do, they look at the ones the preacher points out! Amazing how the human being can be manipulated and brainswashed.

The Christians read selected parts of the Bible, even their preachers can't quote verses from the Bible like our hufaz and scholars can from the Qurand *and* the Bible. I was watching a debate between Ahmad Deedat and some Christian televangelist and the televengalist says,'I have never read that in the Bible, where does it say that?'

My Christians friends say the same things when i point out certains verses from the Bible.

wassalam

slm,
I think the article proves a point, about how the Bible is changed and changed and changed again depending on the "times" and "social norms". But I'll agree it's filth and I don't think Muslims should be reading it even in the intrests of learning about inter-faith debate.

I'll leave the url however because the website is a good one, and perhaps someone doesn't believe the above point of things being changed can learn.

assalaamu alaikum

Sometimes you hear something about another religion and you think "naaah that can't be true, i know that they're wrong, but their book could never say that" - and then you find out that it does. Man was i shocked when i checked this up in my copy of the Bible!

I'd tell my Xtian acquaintances of this for sure - but not in a derisive manner - and this is something that they can't easily explain away. I'd compare for them the way the Prophets are described committing incredible sins in the Bible to the honour with which they are spoken of in the Qur'an (see: surah maryam)

For some reason this reminds me of something a teacher once said: "the best weapon against your enemy is the one that causes the most harm."

Okay, how would you put it, i mean, what way will you adopt to explain to a Xtian about these facts.

Presenting facts is simple, in any event ... all you do is gather it up, make sure it is factual, then "dump" it infront of the person you wish to present it too .. hehe .. and if they refuse to believe, well then that is what we call "denial" and you can't help ppl like that *sigh*
