Portrait A clever elderly woman decided to have her portrait painted. So she told the artist, "Paint me with diamond earrings,a diamond necklace, an emerald bracelet, and a gold Rolex." But you are not wearing any of those things!" the artist pointed out. "I know,"she said. "It's in case I die before my husband. "If he remarries right away, I want his new wife to go crazy looking for the jewelry." |

Assalamoalykum, Here's my all time fav joke: Maybe I already posted it. hmm... maybe not. A barber is doing community service for his town by giving free haircuts. He gives a free haircut to a white man, and the next day the white man brings him flowers. Then the barber given a free haircut to a black man, and the black man brings him a tip the next day. Then he gives a free haircut to a desi man and the desi man brings his whole family the next day. :D I dont care what anyone says, i think its absolutely funny, and i don't care much for being politically incorrect, especailly is its against my own ppl. :) :) :) You know you want to laugh! wassalam |

Shoul humor and brains be cooked together ? |

What i found funny (in the second post) was that the one who told the joke is desperately trying herself trying to prove that what she said was 'absolutely funny' ! Its more or like the incident - when my Bohra friend was going for his piligrimage and his group sat around in the ship for telling jokes... one member started saying the joke and the group waited eagerly to laugh until he finished. They kept waiting until the narration was over. Finally the speaker had to ask the group to deliberately laugh 'cause he was being 'absolutely funny ' ! hmmmm.... i am not sure if humor and brains should be cooked together.... I was wondering if someone could tell me the origin of 'politically correct jokes'... * No hard feelings.... :) |

Assalam, 24/7 means 24 hours of the day,7 days a week. I get depressed because I have relatives in Palestine(both my parents are from there.) And in Sept. or the begining of Oct. my uncle's nephew was killed by the israelies. That's some of the things I get depressed about. I didn't mean to sound harsh in my first post and you didn't offend me. |

Oh ok..I thought it has some specialy meaning 24/7... "Believers (muslims) are to one another like a building whose parts support one other." He then interlaced his fingers. (Bukhari, Muslim). Thank you Wassalam... |
