| slm When I fast I get mind numming headaches. Any suggestions on how to deal with it during the day? |

| Also take a tylenol long lasting at suhoor. I find that I get headaches the first few days because I'm addicted and missing caffeine or something. So if you drink tea or coffee every morning get ready :) That's one of the great things about fasting, flushes out all these dependencies !! |

| Assalamo elikum Yes, Jannah is right it could be because of caffeine. What I usually do is take tea at suhoor - try that it might help a little. Wasalam tq |

| Assalaamu alaikum, Pepsi alleviates headaches? For me, if I drink too much (or even a little of those black coffees) I get headaches!! And *then* I have to take tylenol :) Wasalaam. |

| slm If you fast only during Ramadan,then the headache is because you are not fasting regularily.Shaaban is the time to train yourself,you will also get inshallah a lot of hassanat.Also if you try to fast every Monday and Thursday during the year your system will get used to fasting. And last but not least make your suhur as late as possble and try to have some dates and buttermilk or yogurt. wallahu a'alam. |

| yew... buttermilk and yogurt.... chocolate milk and ice cream sounds better. Yikes- I just found out i have to make up my pregnancy and breast feeding days of non fasting- up. Looks like I'll be fasting alot this year... SubhanAllah! |
