| Bismilah arRahman arRahiem Salaam alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuhu I know that according to Islam that when you have an important decision to make, you can ask Allah(swt) for guidance by doing the Istikhaara prayer. But what if someone's character is indecisive in everyday life? Through what ways can they then improve their decisionmaking according to Islam? And where is this information to be found in hadeeths or Quran? Ma3a Salama, Nurain. |

| Assalamu alaikum I don't really have a hadeeth, but the Sahaba said that the Prophet (S) used to encourage them to make Istikhara about anything, big or small. In the Qur'an, Allah SWT tells Muhammad (S) to discuss (shawir) the matter with them (the companions), and once he decides, to put his trust in Allah. |
