| Asalaamu Alaikum :) I’ve given up worrying about my bad hair days long ago but that’s a different story!!! My own understanding of what is being said is that if a person doesn’t seek loss (by giving up dunya) then he himself is a loser because the dunya will distract him away from akhirah. And if he happens to be in such a state of being able to give up dunya, then death will bring him to a better state because this world is a prison compared to the hereafter. And Allah (swt) knows best The above just makes me smile whenever I hear someone being called a loser. |
