This is a massive topic
I'll try to lead you to certain keywords and you'll have to see how they associate ok?

Prayer is one of the 5 pillars. It emphasizes Community

Thus the prayers for 6 days are offered in a local mosque and one day ,Friday, is the Community
or Jumma prayer usually held in a larger mosque.

This means that people meet up with muslims from a wider circle on that day so they can see the situation of the muslims. Similarly When muslims do haj or the pilgrimage to mecca it reinforces the concept that muslims are a Community beyond any man made borders, any racial barriers, any class system etc it is like a mass migration sort of a force of nature . Just like God creates everything with a Sharia and lots of animals migrate somewhere so muslims do the same.
The difference is that this migration is solely for God and not to derive any material benefit.

Ok so i suggest you examine what muslims do during prayer you can see it as what happens to humans in their lives or as accepting that you are powerless in the face of god. By giving up all power you are made powerful. Because power is inherently based on fear, and fear is based on wordly desires and cares, if you you no longer accept them you are beyond fear ok?
