| Assalamu alaikum y'all, Has anyone ever wondered how come in movies, people tend to drink everything else except water (in most cases anyway)? You've just finished blowing up a out-of-control robot on rampage, you come home to dinner with your family and there's nothing like water on the table - just wine, whisky, juice, etc. Is water that expensive in Hollywood?:) |

| slm one reason for drinking everything but water is that the company who has their products shown is a commerical for them. I don't know if the movie makers get any funding from these companies but people try alot of things because they saw it in the movies. call it visual seduction. |

| Wa alaikum salaam, Good point, Malika. Although, there are many times when we only get to see the drinks in glasses only and not in their labelled containers. |

| slm the funny thing about that is that when they are drinking clear liquor it is most likely water anyway! |
