| Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem This year written by T.Sharkey This year I will try: To always pray on time To rise above my anger To give charity even in a smile To love and spread kindness to everyone To keep quiet if I can't say anything nice To stay strong in my faith To stand tall and proud as a Muslim To wish for others what I wish for myself To see the negative as a sign to repent To see the positive as a sign to be grateful To read from the Quraan and make duaa often To remember Allah always throughout the day To offer help to those in need To think twice before I speak To never judge by color or race To always keep my promises To live the best I can according to Quraan and Sunnah Salamu alaykum, -Sarah T.Sharkey |

that last line sounds familiar... there's a jewel song my bro used to listen to, "lend your voices only to sounds of freedom / no longer lend your strength to that which you wish to be free from / fill your lives with love and bravery / and you shall lead a life uncommon" nice poem bro :) wasalaam. |
