| alsalamu alaykum this was fwded to me I have no name or face No one knows where I live I am nobody's friend There's no justice for me I maim without killing I break hearts and ruin lives Age only adds to my strength The more I'm quoted, the stronger I become My victims are helpless You cannot protect yourself against me The harder you fight, the more elusive I become. Once I tarnish a reputation, it is never the same I topple governments and wreck marriages I ruin careers and cause sleepless nights I spawn suspicion and generate grief I make innocent people cry in their pillows Even my name hisses I am called GOSSIP Office gossip Shop gossip Party gossip Telephone gossip I make headlines and headaches REMEMBER, before you repeat a story Ask yourself: Is it true? Is it fair? Above all, It is necessary? If not, do not repeat it. KEEP QUIET. GREAT minds discuss ideas Average minds discuss events Shallow minds discuss people When I am not yet told, I am your prisoner; But once I am told, you become my prisoner.
