>From the Canadian Jewish News' review of Judith Miller's book, "God Has Ninety-nine Names," August 8, 1996 "Israel is fortunate that Islamic groups fighting for attention and power are unbelievably numerous and diverse. There are 175 of these in the region, 45 in Egypt alone. These internal divisions and rivalries prevent the emergence of a unified...block... "The author concludes 'This book contains very few predictions, but of this I am sure: there will not be a single, unified Islamic community ... even in the unlikely event that Islamic rebels topple every quasi-secular government in the Middle East.'" |

Assalamu alaikum, Well, that's his/her opinion 'cos human beings were not designed to be always predictable. One thing should be noted and that is should Israel attempt to destroy very sacred muslim sites in Jerusalem, Makkah and Madina - all those diverse Islamic groups, it's going to be a global disaster for the state. |
