Assalaamu alaikum,

Congrats Arsalan!! You made it. And congrats Jannah for beating me! You didn't win though :p Man, I drop to number 3 :(

hmmm, se7en are you sure about #18? The list says harram means only forbidden/prohibited. Haraam means both prohibited and sacred. I looked at the verses also and that is how harram is used.

Dawlah = wealth? hehe, actually I have an arabic-english dictionary and one of the less common meanings include wealth. Anyway, I should have known better. Dawlah = dominion, kingdom, sovereignty, nation, coutry (and wealth ;)).

I am also really glad more people participated this time. Inshallah, all those who participated learnt something new. I did!

All Praise is for Allah alone, the Knowledgeable, the Wise.

I guess the studying paid off, especially the last minute cramming.  Although to tell y'all the truth, I think the scores were too close to really have one winner.

I'm impressed by the increase in the number of participants though.  Last time we had only 4 or 5 participants.  This time we had 10.  Alhamdulillah.  Hopefully next time, insha Allah, we can double that number...

Once again, jazak Allahu khairan se7en for giving us an incentive to learn the meaning of the words of Allah Subhaanahu Wa Ta'aala.

Wassalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh.
