| [slm] Ok, people. Those who have heard MYNA Raps 3, Spiritual Progression. I got a question. In "Myna and a Half," what is the last thing that is said? "Myna's not responsible for ___________?" This has really been bugging me since a week! It's undecipherable! Jazak Allahu Khairan in advance :D |

| [slm] yes! that's it.. I remember me and my friends had the same question!! I love that tape! I think they're trying to pull that whole "speedy disclaimer" that most lawyers/orthodontists etc pull at the end of their commercials. "No claim is being made that the services provided by us our better than the services...." ;) Does anyone know if there's going to be another MYNA raps out this ISNA? I know its been two yrs since the last one.. but since MR.MYNA RAPS is married now, I wasn't sure if there was going to be a new release. wassalamu alaikum, nazia |

They were really impressed... they figured I must be over here rubbing shoulders with the big dogs. ;) Are you doing the intro?? I mean, HELLO you're EZ rep, if you don't do it..who will? Ohh...isn't it usually the Dir. of Publicity? Anyways, I want an autographed copy :) Have any of you heard the ORIGINAL MYNA raps?? It was done back in '94. wa alaykum as salaam wa rahmatAllahi wa barakatuh, I could probably recite the tape to you in its entirety... as well as all of the Inner Struggle :) You listen to something a couple hundred times, you figure it out after a while :) There were somethings it took me a loonng time to understand... there was one line in Worldly Satisfaction I could not figure out, the 4th or 5th line "Rich believers that are givin are now the weirdos.." I had no idea until I read the lyrics :) wasalaaam. |

| [slm] Well I must be "not with it" because I've never heard of these MYNA "raps" before. Yeah I know what MYNA is but I didn't know they did raps. I remember I went up to this one youth conference in Stockton California a few years ago and this bro gave this poem/rap thing which was most excellent. That and the fact that I actually understood what he was saying, because sometimes the "rap" stuff is just totally beyond me :( Any tips or ideas of how I can begin to understand what the MYNA raps are about hehe :) |
