| slm I was wondering if anyone saw this movie called Jinnah? Any comments about it? It came out last year (maybe the year before), but they were charging $25 a ticket to see it out here. Supposedly its about the life of the founder of Pakistan written from a Muslim perspective. I would have thought it came out on DVD or VHS by now, but apparently it hasn't. |

| slm Wow, I can't believe they put the whole movie up there. 1 hour and 45 minutes. But the picture quality is so poor on the computer in real video format. I don't know if I could watch all of it. Jazak Allah khairen, I'll see how much of it I can watch before getting tired. :) |

| salaams, yeah it's pretty awful...sloppily done with the recording..i think they cut some parts? we think that's how they showed it here...hooked a comp up to the big screen..which was sponsored by the pak association or something at a uni..it was for free...they had some caterers there for those who wanted to buy dinner etc..n the resolution isn't clear..however..it's up there..and i don't know when and if they'll ever release it..? btw, i have this very interesting quote...they had handed out fliers..n it relates to politics as muslims etc...very cool ...i'll share later insha'allah wa salaamu alaikum |
