| slm, It is nice to know a couple of other muslims. Actually there are many around me, but most will not answer me when i greet them, and lately i have been finding that sometimes i cant get the words out at all. It's like you feel like you are on an island even when there are others around. Wasalaam:-) |

| salam, sometimes people don't answer my salams either at the masjid, but i still say salams to them anyway. :) not to annoy them or anything but i hope that one day they will be nice enought to say salam back and gain some rewards. |

| as-Salaamu 'Alaikum Sister Savannah, I don't live in Toronto, but whenever I go visit I've found that the friendliest mosque I've been to is "Khalid ibn Al-Walid Mosque"...as soon as you walk in sisters are saying salaam left and right. Have you ever been there? If not, you can get their address from www.khalidmosque.com was-Salaamu 'Alaikum, Your Sis in Islaam. |

| Assalamu alaikum, Savannah, the website for that mosque is [url]http://www.khalidmosque.com[/url]. One of the Juma khateebs there comes to U of Toronto every Monday night to give us intoductory material to usool al-fiqh. He is AWESOME! You should come if you live close to downtown TO. We also have Juma prayers on campus, and the atmosphere is very friendly if a little bit rushed since everyone goes to class soon after.
