| slm from what i gather, Albanyia is Albany, NY, the place from which the originator of this board is from. Bhaloo would probably tell you it is the place which all cows call home ;) |

| [slm] hey come on guys, don't diss country life, i mean thats where you get away from the hustle and the bustle of city life. You guys never read the The Town and Country mouse? Or was it the City and Country mice? It's about these 2 mice and they are cousins and how the city mouse visits the country mouse, and doesn't end up liking the country so he takes the country mouse to the city and the same thing happens. So point is don't diss country life or cows :) I've never had the chance to actually milk one, but I did get to see one getting milked. Though they do have those machines now that do it automatically. Kinda takes the fun out of it hehe. |

| salaams, oh i'm not dissing it...i know it's cool (at least as a once in awhile awhile retreat that is)..i've experieneced the whole country n city mouse deal...with my grandparents..they used to have a ranch..and cool thing, i actually got to milk a goat! :) although it didn't like me that much..? "city girl" is what my gramps would say...but we be suburbanians. :) or Bay Area coolness :) wa salaams hmmm reminds me of the berkeley farm commercials...lol where are the cows? berkeley! :P CA rocks on. :) ok, i'll leave you NYers.. | [slm] Well I have to agree with Pacificbreeze, CA does rock masha Allah. The thing is I always associated NY with the crime infested nasty NYC. Sorry but I do not like NYC. Then when I heard about upstate NY and Albany I was like masha Allah, so there is actually place for ppl to lead normal lives hehe. No offense to anyone living in NYC on the board, but I dunno how you guys do it. I shouldn't really be saying anything because my grandma lives in Manhattan hehe. I don't like downtown LA either. And downtown San Diego is a place i readily avoid. |

| yup i've always associated NY with NYC..i didn't know there are areas like Albany up there.. you dn't like SD? why not? we visited it once..and the city part (the lil we saw) is pretty but..like..there's really nothing to do? well...there wasn't any Fisherman's Wharf deal in comparison to SF? otherwise SD's cute..LA's like cleaned up now? awesome.. |

Otherwise it is a very beautiful city masha Allah. Thing is I'm so busy I barely get a chance to drive around to see all the nice places. |
