| Dear Brothers and Sisters Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu Does anyone happen to know if their is a ruling regarding highlighting text in books of knowledge, with the exception of the Quran? Wa'assalam Serena |

| Walaikum Salaam I don't know is my answer but I often find I read something, make a mental note of it and then proceed to not be able to find it again when I need it. There are these really good post it type thingies which I have at work though for marking pages. I can't imagine they would be an issue to use |

| [slm] Insha Allah I will try and call up the shaikhs that come on the Arab TV this weekend and get a live answer. For those of you who have Arab TV the show is called "Fatawa 3al Hawa" , live fatwas. |
