| wa alaikum assalaam, oh i'm sorry! i wasn't aware that you've replied..nor have i been looking through all the different folders and sections! yes, it is..the MCA on Scott Blvd. :) I guess they're renaming one of the rooms as the "presentations" ctr. ;) have you been there before? and have you seen the new mens room? they're redoing the masjid..working on the women's side at the moment..so the men have their new portion and the old men's section is now the women's temp section.. :) just alerting you incase you come back for a visit lol you wouldn't want to mix up and enter from the women's side! lol oh my goodness that reminds me of a occurred once lol..let me know if you'd like me to share. :) btw, i'm quite curious..would any of you be coming from afar to attend the zaytuna institute conference? i might be there insha'allah...it's right across from Great America (the amusement park) any sisters planning on attending? :) wa salaamu alaikum wr wb :) |

[/quote] Heh I lived in the Bay Area for almost 9 years so yes I have been there before, but it's been almost 2 years since I've been back. MCA has definatly changed a lot, I remember when they first bought that building, loooong time ago. I missed the event on the 17th but I'll try and come up for the Zaytuna event at the convention center insha Allah. |

| slm Yeah I remember when everyone prayed jum3a at masjid al noor. Actually the first Shaikh Hamza Yusuf khutba I ever heard was at the masjid subhana Allah, long time ago :) |

Pali march and demo @ 'frisco...'creative march' n yusuf al yusuf'll speak.. just a few recent events..if u know, u know..if u don't know, then get plugged in! for specific info email/IM me!
