"Islam is the best religion. Muslim are the worst followers."

Does anyone know who said this? I can't remember, I thought it was George Bernard Shaw but not sure.

as salaamu alaykum wa rahmatAllah,

:)

Her point was that the worst type of followers are those who follow something that is false.  The "worst followers" are not those who believe Islam is true and then do not practice it.  The "worst followers" are those who are following a deen that will ultimately make them losers.  Because no matter how loyal they are to it's practices, or how firmly they believe in it's creed, they are following something that is untrue.

Her point was that even the lowest type of Muslim, one who affirms the truth as truth, is a better 'follower' than a kaffir, someone who turns their back on the truth.

It took me a long time to understand her point, but I think I got it now.. (we had this discussion like 3 years ago)

It's an interesting statement though, and I understand the sentiment.

wasalaam.

No, only a quart. We already had some :) But it's cool now the airport has those zamzam acceptance centers so so now all these ppl are sending a few gallons that aren't credited against their luggage restrictions...
