Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh, The Muslim Students'Association of USC is happy to announce that video tapes for "Taleban in Afghanistan" lecture are available for sale. All the money collected will be donated to Islamic relief activities to cloth children in Afghanistan and feed them. Prices as follow: - Students: $20 per video tape. - Others: $35 per video tape. **Shipping/Handling is $5 for USA (priority mail), and $10 for outside the USA. Please send you donations, using checks payable to MSA-USC, to: MSA-USC 830 Childs Way #222 Los Angeles, CA 90089 Write in the memo section: "For Tape". The lecture is by Sayyid Rahmatullah Hashimi, roving Ambassador of Taleban. It took place at the University of Southern California on Saturday March 10th, 2001. It is a valuable source of information that shows how the western media spread corrupted information about the Islamic government in Afghanistan, Osama ibn Laden, and the Buddha statues (among other things). This is a great chance to know the reality of the situation in the new Islamic State. The video tape is of high quality and length of two hours. All the money collected from selling the video tapes will be donated to the children of Afghanistan. The cost of the tapes is already covered by a generous brother, May Allah give him success in this life and Paradise in the hereafter. Ameen. Please make duaa for him and his family. | jazakallahu khairan.. i was wondering if anyone could help moi? i can't seem to recall that american afghani woman's name? the one who's married to a white republican or something, who's pro abortion etc etc..yet sides with the taliban and is their lobbyier?? she's beeninterviewed several times over the last years...but i've forgotten her name?!?!? does anyone know???? jazakumallahu khairan in advance! :) |

| Salaam 'Alaikum Her name is Laili (Laila) Helmes. I don't know about her being pro-choice or any of the other stuff, but she is very much involved in the cause of Afghan people. One of our mutual friends told me she's supposed to be going back to Afghanistan this month or next month to make another video-documentary on the situation there, but she was very busy when the brother from Taliban was still here, and I haven't gotten a chance to talk to her yet. |
