Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah Ok, not sure if this site has already been discussed, but I finally found a website that sells Qari bin Rashid Al Efaasi audio tapes. And cheap, too! www.daralbalagh.com Unfortunately, only cassette tapes (unless they now have CDs), and you have to ask the administrator for the tapes specifically, since the last I checked, they didn't have Al Efaasi listed...alhamdulillah, don't ask me how I found these! But if you know of anywhere that I can find Al Efaasi CDs, please do let me know, insha'Allah. JazaakAllahu khairan! |

slm, dar al balagh does have cheap stuff, but their shipping rates are insane... cause they have to ship it overseas... i ordered a shuraim juz amma cd from islamic bookstore for 9.95, and i saw the cd on dar al balag's site for like 4 bucs.. but when i saw the shipping was $9.00, i was like... uhhh... heh.. but iz all good.. you could probably see if a distributor in the us sells those tapes fomr dar al balagh, so you may be able to get em for slightly less shipping... if not, then iz all good... go for it :) ma'salaam |

Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullah Glad there are others who were as enthused about this as I was! The last time I contacted Daral-Balagh (before Ramadan, sorry it took so long to remember to post this!), they mentioned they had 8 different cassettes of Al-Efaasi (no CDs, not sure if that's changed), for a whopping $2 each. So of course in my elation, I ordered all 8, but shipping was a bit disproportionate ($10). But I received it in 1 week! Alhamdulillah, and I've been listening to the tapes ever since, so it was well worth it for me. I'm still looking for CDs, I have to be wary of my tape-eating-car-cassette-player. |

Assalamu alaykum, IslamicBookstore.com will, iA, be carrying all available Sh. Effassi cassette tapes soon. From what I've heard from our sources in SA, he only has about 10 tapes available, with nothing out on CD. We'll match Daralbalagh's price for you. (: If anybody needs any Qur'an tape or CD from Saudi, email me. We can usually get them for, and ship from the US. May take 1-4 months tho, as we order from there about 3 times per year.
