| I finally finished my little account of Umrah. So for those who have been asking (pestering..se7en!) check it out at [url]http://www.jannah.org/hajj[/url] inshallah. It's not a fiqh manual, just some thoughts. |

| Jazakallah khair, I took a few of them, the rest are postcards! I pray that all of you get a chance soon to visit the holy cities. It is truly a gift from Allah that you can never repay. I definitely didn't deserve it but am thankful I had the opportunity. BTW br mokhtar talked about the rawdah today in class ..amazing..sigh you know the hadith of the prophet [saw]: [i]Between my house and my mimbar is a garden from the gardens of paradise.[/i] well another narration also continues: [i]and beneath my mimbar is my howdah[/i] the howdh being the lake/pond of rasullullah [saw] that the believers will drink of in jannah someone smart, i won't mention names (se7en) made a beautiful comment about how this could mean that those who seek to drink of the howdh should seek what rasulullah [saw] taught from the mimbar. |

| Jannah-which pictures did you take? (obviously not the satellite ones!!hehe) Are we allowed to take cameras into the Haram itself? |

| [slm] No cameras allowed in the haram. They search you and your bags. The pictures I took are scattered throughout the narrative. Basically all the one's besides the "postcard" looking ones. |
