| I am in urgent need of some written material on the topic "Islam and environment science". Here I need the information with regard to what Islam has to say about environmental conservation and about environmental sciences. This material I need for a book chapter where this aspect has been dealt with regard to different religions. I have been entrusted with the responsibility of writing for Islam. I have collected some material but it is not sufficient. I thought that you may have come across with such material while making your web page or surfing various Islamic sites on internet. I need this material in about one weeks time. Please if ANYONE of you brothers or sisters out here, happen to have some information on this topic, send me on my Email JazakAllah |

| alsalamu alaykum wa rhmat Allah wa barakatuhu subhan Allah i was asked yesterday about information on Islam and ecology -basically what ur looking for- and i had no clue where to get it from?...does anyone know of any books published??? or websites that deal with this subject? jazakum Allah khayran katheera |

| slm There is quite a bit that has been written by Muslims regarding the Environment, Ecology, and Nature and it's position in Islam. However, most of this cannot be found on the WWW. I advise that you look at the selection of books available from Halalco.
