| Assalamu alaykum, I like cross stitching on canavas and I would like to know if it is haram to sew humans and animals on staff as I read some articles and Hadith and I find different opinions about this, I mean scholar opinions. So, help me find out where is the truth! Thanks in advance!Assalamu alaykum! |

| Salamu Alaikom I believe art and pictures were discussed else-where on the board. You might want to run a search. My humble understanding is that you should avoid making things that have faces like animals and people etc. Or you will be asked by Allah to make them come to life. I believe(once again in my humble understanding) that plants are ok to draw even though they are alive. Maybe someone else can correct me if I am wrong inshallah. |
