| Walaikum Assalam. Welcome to our humble abode. I lived in London most of my life, and moved here to the US several years ago. n I assume you mean London, UK and not London, Ontario ? |

| SalaamAlaikum Two years ago, my family was driving to Toronto to see my aunt. On the side of the highway, a few hours before Toronto, we saw a masjid minaret, so we took the next exit and found our way to to the masjid (guided by the minaret). It was really nice, and it was in London :) I was surprised that there were so many Muslims in such a small town like that. |

| slm Yeah, their was a need for a welcoming committee, and since they have had experience in this field, I said they could do it. Even though I beat them many times to welcoming others to the board. :) |

| Assalamu alaikum, Nice to see that you made your way to our lovely Madina, sr. Muslima. Yep, there is another less famous London in Ontario, which has a small river running through it and someone with a sense of humour named it the Thames! There is even Paris, Ontario, not 100 Km to the east of London, ON. Just in case no one knows about Ontario too, it is one big eastern province in Canada. Wassalam Mona |

| As salaamu 'alaikum Jazak Allah Khair for the warm welcome. In answer to sister Eleanor's question, No sis I'm not a revert ('revert' since we are all born Muslim!!), but I do know many reverts. I used to think that being a revert was much easier than being brought up a Muslim by your parents, but I have to say I've changed my opinions on that after seeing the realities that many reverts go through with thier families and the feeling of insecurity they have, is very hard on them. Inshah Allah the more we persevere the easier Islam will be made for us no matter what the obsticles. Hadith qudsi: Allah says,'I am as My servant imagines Me to be, and I am always with him........And if he advances toward Me at a walk, I will advance toward him at a run.' |
