Salaam I just read a post where somebody was making a joke about people sleeping on the streets Can i just point out as somebody who has lived on the streets and may be doing so again in a few days if problems with family continue that it's not funny when you are in that situation 1) You are cold 2) You dare not sleep anywhere near other humans because you might be attacked etc 3) People automatically assume that you are crazy and don't count on any muslim helping you either the imams of all the mosques I KNOW lock up the mosque and go home after salah they don't really care So i'd appreciate it if you guys would lay off the homeless people jokes because drink and drugs are not the only reason people become homeless and neither are all of us 'academic' failures jazakalla |

| slm if you're referring to the posts made from Kathy about Lightningatnite I think maybe you misunderstood what they were saying. Or did I misunderstand? Kathy? Jannah? se7en? In fact Kathy had been praying for the homeless man. Hopefully they'll respond themselves to your post. | wlm, argh not this again! basically it was a joke, but not about homelessness, it was about se7en and i kicking lightningatnite out of the house b/c he said something rude about us--ie sibling fun kind of stuff |
