| asalaamu alaikum guys, wsup? My name is Anik, and I guess I am supposed to make an introduction here... well, I am 18 yrs old, in first year at u of t, and most importantly, a few months ago, I accepted Islam after a long time of interest. It's tough with my parents because of that (they are staunch Hindus), but brothers and sisters around make it easier on me. Thank God my background is South Asian, so it made a lot of things like words, lifestyle and pronounciation easier to grasp and learn. So here I am, I saw this site mentioned on an email, and I thought it would be cool to check out. You guys are all so friendly here and it seems pretty up to date.
