| Man killed while kneeling to pray Muslim struck by tractor-trailer Beth Warren - Staff Wednesday, April 18, 2001 http://www.accessatlanta.com/partners/ajc/epaper/editions/wednesday/gwinnett_a3dd62044420125c00ff.html A Lawrenceville man who is Muslim had stopped his walk to kneel on a sidewalk and pray when the back of a tractor-trailer jumped the curb and killed him, police said. Hussein Moledina, 80, of Lawrenceville, had turned away from traffic to face the fading sun at 6 p.m. Monday when he was struck in the side by the truck's back wheels. The wheels dragged him for about 15 feet, Gwinnett County police Officer J.K. Tiller said. The truck driver, Paul Edwards, had been driving east on Ronald Reagan Parkway to a subdivision to deliver a load of roof trusses from Truss Tech Industries of Buford, the officer said. The truck was too long for that parkway and jumped the curb while turning right onto Five Forks-Trickum Road, police said. Moledina had been walking near his Brandon Walk Lane home when he stopped on the sidewalk, which is about five feet from the roadside. "He was out walking and got to a place where I suppose he felt was safe," Tiller said. The driver stopped after seeing the victim in his mirror, but the man was already dead, the officer said. "He's really tore up about it," Tiller said of the driver. Edwards is expected to be charged with vehicular homicide and a traffic offense,Tiller said. |

| Inna lillah wa inna ilaihi rajeeoon. That's heartbreaking. May Allah make it a good sign that he died while in prayer and enter him into Jannah. |

| In other words Shaheed what a death man. He died as he lived his life i.e. praying salaat and insha-allah pleasing the creator. |
