| Asalaamu Alaikum ;-) Okay I admit it, this thread has been prompted by Sr Teacup's name!!! ;-) So what's it gonna be? Coffee? Hot chocolate? Good ole cuppa? Who knows we may even have some Milo fans out there! ;-) |

| Cammomile tea...eases me into sleep. I have been having so much trouble with sleep lately. I dunno, but it is maybe an age thing. Coffee, to which I can safely say that I am addicted to, does not prevent me from sleeping, yet I am trying to avoid late in the evening. Yeah, what's milo? Must be a UK thing. |

| Ovaltine you have seen her la la la la la la laaa la! no I don't drink Ovaltine. Actually I've never tried it. Nor Horlicks. I don't like these malty type drinks. | Assalaamu alaikum, Yep, Milo was my favorite when I was a kid. I remember their ads in newspapers and tv promoting Milo as this big energy booster. I don't remember the exact wording but it was common then (this was back in Nigeria) when someone exhibited a lot of strength everyone would go, Milo energy! :) BTW, in Nigeria Milo was pronounced as meelo, while in Pakistan they pronounced it as my-lo. I wonder what pronounciation they use in the UK? For folks who can't live without pepsi looking to start college, consider also the availability of pepsi on campus before choosing a school. Many colleges have exclusive contracts with one beverage company only. Like at my school, only coke is available on campus (vending machines, shops, dining rooms, etc). Otherwise you will end up lugging a six-pack and a back-pack to school everyday :) Wasalaam. |

Guess I needed as much energy as I could get!! Its interesting though because over here in the UK we've inherited a lot of coffee bars from the US like Starbucks etc and it seems to me (perish the thought) that coffee is starting to replace tea as our favourite drink!!! Personally I can't get going in the morning unless I've had a nice cup of tea..strong...lots of milk...two sugurs ;-) |

| Assalam ualykum, Sometimes coffee and sometimes mild and cookies. I can drink a cup of coffee right before bed and still go to sleep! Can you believe that! I swear it's true. But during the day time coffee helps me stay awake! Weird huh? But I come from a long line of weird people in my family. You know with the aliens asking for onions and everything.. :) wassalam |

| wa alaikum us-salaam I always have a glass of water before i go to sleep. Sometimes before that though, i do take a glass of Horlicks. You know i was at Sun Microsystems last week and they had this drink there called "CoffeeChoc" - YUCK! I spilt it all down the sink. But the Creamichoc was luvvly! |

| assalamu alaikum wr wb i prefer warm milk like hot cocoa...or just a nice glass of cold water. depends on the weather outside though, if its really hot then i prefer water but if its really cold then the warm milk hits the spot. i dont like drinking pepsi or coke anymore now that i hear it cleans your toilet or it can clean out the gunk in the toilets. i didnt believe this till i used some soda i had. I poured it down the toilet and waited like an hour. then i flushed...and boy did it ever shine? and did it ever clean?? wow.. that was sure enough for me to say..adios coca cola and pepsi.. not that desperate for it.. besides..im avoiding soft drinks right now except for 7up for the tummy aches...but everything else..as it is not healthy or safe.. ps. adding another edition to the family :P |

| you should try just putting a 1 or 2p piece in a glass of coke or pepsi and leave it there a while. When you take it out it'll be sooooo shiny!! anyway, not to worry...the acids in the human stomach are faaaaaar stronger than any old coke or pepsi. Green tea with Jasmin... and also peppermint... hmmm... relaxing and therapeutic... I used to drink them every morning, I mean.. green tea or peach tea or mango tea or lychee tea... yada yada yada... Now, my new craze is Bubble Tea... mmmmm... Looks like I'm gonna have a hard time cutting down my caffeine. And err... actually, I don't have bedtime beverages... when I get home if it's not the internet... it's straight to bed... sometimes, I'm just too tired to change...
