| slm, someone please correct me if im wrong here... but i believe there is a hadith that says something about how a husband can hit his wife with nothing bigger than a miswak (or somethign liek that.. someone please correct me before its taken the wrong way! :) ).. and i was listening to a lecture once where someone explained that the fact that sa miswak isnt very big at all should basicalyl convey the meaning that a man should not use physical force on his wife in an abusive manner (and besides, whats the point of using something as small a miswak? :) ).. but anyway thats just a vague recollection of what i remember.. someone please correct me if im wrong :) |

| Assalamu'alaikum, Yes, pls do check out the link, inshaALlah. But as a sister, I think I would get the message (and get sooo hurt), BIG TIME, if my husband is to just pushed me slightly with his finger, and tell me of the wrong thing I did that upset him. Talking abt being sensitive! I did discuss this with some other sisters, and that is how we felt, coz, we must have done something really serious for our husbands to do that... Just a thought, wassalam :-) |

| salam, If there r ne males out there who hit there wife, they r really weak, coz u can talk out ur probs, y use violence??? I agree with u sis barr wa-salam |
